2021 was a year full of surprises, challenges, and success! Make a Kid Merry grew beyond imaginable as we added a board of 12 members to help us further our mission. We raised almost $5,000 to sponsor nearly 70 children's Christmas gifts, which included things like Heelys, hoverboards, bikes, and even a stroller/car seat set for a young soon-to-be mother we sponsored.
Families were invited to our special event to receive Christmas dinner, pictures with Santa, and their presents. We also had plenty of fun activities, coloring, music, and dancing to make for an amazing night!
After the holiday, we received notice that we've been approved to become an official 501c(3) charity! We're so blessed and look forward to making an even greater impact in our community. We can't say thank you enough!
